Foot patrol (07/04/2026)

Rick visited all of the Parkside beat and most of Rush Green over the course of more than 5 hours today, along with open space patrols (est. 10.64 miles).

Hooks Hall Drive (9.33am) began proceedings in the Parkside area, before covering the likes of Highland Avenue (9.40am), Grove Gardens, Bell Farm Avenue (9.57am, p) and Eastbrook Close.

Greenwood Avenue, Woodshire Road and Luke Allsopp Square were also ticked off.

1.7 miles of Central Park was patrolled, which included 3 of the 4 playgrounds, with Wisdons Close 11.24am) and Alex Guy Gardens checked on in between.

Arriving in Rush Green just before noon, both sides of Dagenham Road were covered in full, including Leonard Avenue (11.57am), Philip Close (12.13pm) to the west and the east side's Gorseway (12.24pm), Footpath 155 (12.453pm) and Lilac Gardens.

Harveys Lane, Great Cullings and Eastbrook Drive saw late visits, with Fels Farm Mews (2.24pm) and the Eastbrookend Country Park also covered.
